FCFC Spring 2025 Season FAQs
In Spring 2025, our recreational teams for boys and girls will play in the JUSA interleague, meaning that FCFC recreational teams will play against other local recreational teams from Placentia, Yorba Linda, La Mirada, etc.
Spring season practices will begin the week of February 17. Practices will likely be held once a week in Fullerton (maybe twice if the coach and team agree). Games will begin the weekend of March 15-16. Games will be on Saturdays and Sundays. Home games will be on Fullerton fields. We will attempt to schedule all home games for Sundays after 12:00.

FCFC is a newly established organization that launched its inaugural season in Fall 2024. As we build our league, we’re focused on ensuring we have enough registered players to form teams across divisions, organized by age and gender. Our goal is to create divisions with at least four teams each. In the event we are unable to field four teams in a division, we will collaborate with JUSA, a youth soccer organization based in Placentia and Yorba Linda, to create an "inter-league." This partnership will allow FCFC recreational teams to compete with recreational teams from JUSA, as well as nearby La Mirada and La Habra, ensuring a vibrant and engaging season for all players.
How many practices will be held during the Spring 2025 season?
Each recreational team will have 1-2 practices per week.
The coach of each recreational team will decide whether to hold one or two practices.
Select teams will hold 2 or more practices per week (subject to agreement between coach and team).

Select Teams may choose to attend various tournaments throughout the year. The $195 fee does not include tournament fees or potential food and lodging costs associated with certain tournaments.
How do I select an Age Division?
Player’s soccer age should be calculated using the player’s birth year (“Birth Year” format). To calculate a player's soccer age (e.g. U10) for registration purposes, subtract the child's birth year from the end of the seasonal year. For example: In the Fall 2024- Spring 2025 seasonal year, if your child is born in 2015 and the seasonal year ends in 2025, the calculation is 2025 - 2015 = 10. Your child's soccer age is U10. In other words, U10 = Birth Year 2015.
There has been a lot of discussion amongst the national and regional youth soccer organizations about replacing the current Birth Year format with the School Year format (e.g. Aug. 1 – July 31). If there is a change at the national or regional level, FCFC intends to implement that change and apply the School Year format when creating divisions.
