FCFC Fall 2025 Recreational Season
FCFC Fall 2025 Recreational Season FAQs
In Fall 2025, our recreational teams for boys and girls will play in FCFC's Fall 2025 recreational league. Where we have enough teams registered in a single division (i.e., 4 or more teams), those teams will play only against other FCFC teams in Liga FCFC. Where we have an insufficient number of teams registered in a single division (i.e., 3 or fewer teams), the FCFC recreational team(s) in that division will play against other recreational teams from other youth soccer organizations in JUSA's recreational league or in Cal South's Inner City league (FCFC Interleague).
All FCFC teams will practice on fields in Fullerton. Fall season practices will begin the week of August 18. Practices will likely be held twice a week. Games will begin Saturday, September 6. Regular season recreational games will be on Saturdays.
For teams playing in Liga FCFC, FCFC will host two tournaments in the Fall:
- Copa FCFC
- FCFC Champions Cup
Games for these tournaments will likely fall on a weekday and the following weekend. All Liga FCFC games will be on Fullerton City fields.

FCFC is a newly established organization that launched its inaugural season in Fall 2024. Our long term goal (with your support!) is to register enough players to form teams across divisions, organized by age and gender. Ideally each division (e.g. Boys 2016) will have at least four teams. In the event we are unable to field four teams in a division, we will collaborate with JUSA and/or Cal South so our FCFC recreational teams may compete against other local recreational teams from neighboring leagues. This collaboration will ensure a vibrant and engaging season for all players.
Tell me more about practices. How often, where, and what time?
- Each recreational team will have 2 practices per week.
- The coach of each recreational team will decide the date, time, and location of the practice.
- Practices will be held in Fullerton (e.g. Bastanchury Park, Fullerton Sports Complex, Acacia Park, Richman Park, Byerrum Park)

Is there a discount if I register multiple children?
Yes. You will receive a $20 discount for each additional child you register.
Is there a discount if I coach?
Yes. We need volunteer coaches! You will receive FREE REGISTRATION if you coach your child's team. All coaches will need to complete basic training (e.g. Safesport, concussions protocol) and Livescan (background check).
Do I need to commit volunteer hours or pay a volunteer opt-out fee?
We do not require volunteer hours or charge a volunteer opt-out fee. However, FCFC is an entirely volunteer run 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and we encourage every parent to volunteer in some capacity. As a growing organization, we need your help, as a coach, team manager, lining fields, division liaison, marketing, creating player cards, etc.). Please complete the volunteer form on our website or register to volunteer as a coach.
How do I select an Age Division?
Player's soccer age should be calculated using the player's birth year ("Birth Year" format). So if your child was born in 2016, they should be registered under the Birth Year 2016 division.
Heads up -- beginning Spring 2026 FCFC (and Cal South) will be moving from the current Birth Year format to the School Year format (e.g. Sept. 1 – Aug. 31). This will align FCFC with the National standard presented by the U.S. Soccer Federation, including US Youth Soccer, US Club Soccer and AYSO. For example, this means that for next year's Spring 2026 registration if your child was born from September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2017, your child will register for the Under10 division.
